Many books on Chinese history attempt to present religion in China as evolving with society. They try to prove that religion has no supernatural origin but was simply thought up, by powerful and influential people, and imposed on society for political purposes. We agree that with certain religious movements at certain times in history, this has been the case. However, after twenty years of diligent research it has become evident that many important facts, concerning China's ancient religious faith, have been withheld from the public. In other cases research data was wrongly interpreted because some key information was missing. The purpose of this little booklet is to bring before the public some of these very important facts that we believe are extremely relevant to you the reader. In fact, they might just change your whole outlook on life and eternity. We just want to give you an opportunity to know this important history so you can at least decide for yourself what impact it should have on your life.
